Description of Principle Duties
- Answer telephone calls and takes messages in a polite and knowledgeable manner
- Learn to take proper information from callers for order requests and bid requests
- Coincide with service to obtain start up reports and work ticket documentation as required for customers
- Review bid documents and have an understanding if MAS can bid the job. Distribute to appropriate Sales Engineers.
- Aid with ordering office supplies and equipment
- Coincide with copying/emailing Installation manuals, etc.
- File & organize projects, bid documents, and any other business-related files where applicable to equipment orders
- Learn parts business and processes to be used for equipment orders
- Communicate with vendors for customer orders
- Create quotes to customers where applicable for equipment orders
- Aid on follow ups on aged accounts receivables
- Pack and ship correspondence/products to customers and vendors
Education, Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Mechanical HVAC service or equipment sales preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Education and experience in the construction and engineering industry, with specific experience in dealing with construction drawings, specifications, construction schedule and processes is a plus.
Knowledge/Skill Set
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
- Must have the ability to switch quickly between tasks based on priority and timeline.
- Works well within a team dynamic to ensure timely execution of tasks.
