About the role
Coordinate and monitor cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and company objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task dependencies.
- Conduct initial risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are executed according to the project plan.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with team members to provide updates and gather status reports.
- Collaborate with department managers to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently to meet project goals.
- Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts in conjunction with finance and accounting teams.
- Monitor project expenditures and track against budget allocations.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and milestones achieved.
- Facilitate two-way effective communication between different teams and departments involved in the project.
- Maintain weekly communication with production, engineering, and sales departments, with updates to ensure proper adherence to established timelines and objectives.
- Assist in developing best practices goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Track budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Comply with the company’s ISO objectives, policies, & procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, industrial technology, or equivalent experience.
- Two to four years of project management experience in an OEM, Industrial, or Construction setting.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
- Blueprint reading required (AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, etc.).
- Ability and willingness to travel 15-20%.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Background check is a requirement of the hiring process.
Skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficient working with an ERP and with Project Management software (MS Project, Procore, etc.).
