About the role

Coordinate and monitor cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and company objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task dependencies.
  • Conduct initial risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are executed according to the project plan.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with team members to provide updates and gather status reports.
  • Collaborate with department managers to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently to meet project goals.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts in conjunction with finance and accounting teams.
  • Monitor project expenditures and track against budget allocations.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and milestones achieved.
  • Facilitate two-way effective communication between different teams and departments involved in the project.
  • Maintain weekly communication with production, engineering, and sales departments, with updates to ensure proper adherence to established timelines and objectives.
  • Assist in developing best practices goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Track budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Comply with the company’s ISO objectives, policies, & procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, industrial technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Two to four years of project management experience in an OEM, Industrial, or Construction setting.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
  • Blueprint reading required (AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, etc.).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 15-20%.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Background check is a requirement of the hiring process.

Skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficient working with an ERP and with Project Management software (MS Project, Procore, etc.).
