Project Manager (Active TS/SCI Clearance required)

About the Role

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is seeking a Project Manager to support our mission at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. This role involves planning, directing, and overseeing contract performance for mission-support operations at Kirtland AFB. The Project Manager serves as the primary interface with the customer and corporate leadership, managing staffing, schedule, cost, risk, quality, deliverables, and subcontractor coordination. Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics and compliance, resolving operational issues, and ensuring contractual requirements are met safely, securely, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day activities for a moderately complex technical or non-technical project.
• Provides administrative and operational leadership of a project within program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
• Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
• Coordinates between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
• May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future projects, missions, or programs.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
• Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 8 years of experience, including 3 years leading technical or mission-support teams.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance required.

This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Applicants selected may be offered but cannot begin work until funding has been confirmed.
