About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Lynchburg project staff by planning and coordinating project scheduling, leading the execution of site cross-functional projects, developing timelines, taking meeting minutes and action items during team meetings, and performing basic follow-up tasks. The role requires entry-level project management skills, demonstrated by the ability to facilitate project team meetings within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, regulated environment. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the new product introduction process and technical service projects such as cost savings and product reformulations.
The role requires strong cross-functional business acumen demonstrated by working with multiple departments such as Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations. The Project Manager will work across multiple teams within a matrix organization to schedule project team meetings, organize resources, and manage cross-project activities. Product categories include OTC drugs, Medical Devices, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
- Builds project timelines with input from team members and change control owners
- Schedules and facilitates regular project team meetings
- Tracks the completion of team members’ tasks to facilitate accountability
- Develops timelines with input from team members
- Produces meeting minutes and monitors action items
- Facilitates team meetings
- Forms project teams for approved projects
- Manages the overall execution of project plans
- Issues meeting minutes and updates on progress of projects against milestones
- Supports project management activities within Fleet business units
- Performs other related project management duties as required
- Manages and coordinates management activities among teams for on-time delivery
- Ensures work is compliant
- Handles concurrent projects with internal and external resources
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in scientific, business, or engineering
- Strong Smartsheet, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required
- 4-6 years’ experience working in a Project Management environment
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Adaptable to changing priorities

Pay
$60,000 - $80,000
