Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school districts, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Lead project planning, subcontract administration, procurement, and contract management.
- Cook up closely with Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient, and successful field execution.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project reporting.
- Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor Project Engineers and support the development of future project management talent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive project management experience within General Contracting construction.
- K-12, higher education, or public-sector construction experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple construction projects and competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional client service.
