Project Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on project control support for large and complex Navy/DoD projects
• Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules
• Tracking key milestones
• Analyzing the critical path
• Monitoring project resources (staffing, procurement, and budgets)
• Coordinating directly with project teams to ensure tasks remain on schedule
• Compiling project data
• Preparing regular status reports to support successful project completion
• Filling this position is contingent upon funding

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and five (5) years of relevant experience
• Or a master's degree in a relevant discipline and three (3) years of relevant experience
• Or an associate’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and seven (7) years of relevant experience
• Of the required experience, at least three (3) years must be in large and complex projects associated with the U.S. Navy or other DoD programs
• Of the required experience, at least one (1) year must include experience leading project tasks or teams (this can be concurrent with the DoD experience)
