Project Management Specialist

About the role

Boeing is seeking a Materials and Process Technology (M&PT) Project Management Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in daily project execution.
• Coordinate business case development for projects in support of BDS M&PT at multiple sites.
• Support preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities to maintain an integrated plan meeting program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
• Coordinate development of detailed WBS and schedule.
• Manage RIOs for the M&PT Team in San Antonio, TX and Jacksonville, FL.
• Coordinate development of Senior Leadership briefings and communicate project progress up, down, and out.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• 5+ years of experience with project planning, scheduling, project management, or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience with project scheduling (Microsoft Project, milestones).
• Experience with risk management and mitigation.
• 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• U.S. Citizenship (required for U.S. Security Clearance).

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working on multiple projects of various sizes and complexities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with technology insertion projects.
• Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.

Pay

Summary pay range (Level 3): $94,350 – $127,650, based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
