Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing AMR projects from concept through to commissioning
  • Acting as the primary customer contact to manage timelines, expectations, and feedback
  • Alligning internal teams—sales, engineering, production, and support—to deliver cohesive project outcomes
  • S supporting sales with early-stage technical input and feasibility assessments
  • Overseeing installation, troubleshooting, and final system tuning
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource planning
  • Driving internal coordination and project reviews to maintain accountability and momentum
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery
  • Promoting continuous improvement and scalable project practices across teams

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strong project ownership mindset with ability to manage scope, resources, risks, and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across departments
  • Structured decision-making, analytical thinking, and keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, Vismockup) and familiarity with industrial tools and systems
  • Experience using project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in dynamic, fast-paced, innovation-driven environments
  • Technical problem-solving skills, especially in field integration and commissioning contexts
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of German is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license

Minimum Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 7 years of overall experience in industries such as automation, robotics, industrial systems, or other technology-driven turnkey project environments.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in project management or project engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.
  • Hands-on experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating between departments including engineering, sales, and production
  • Prior involvement in customer-facing roles, with demonstrated ability to manage expectations, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction
  • Experience working with industrial hardware and software tools (e.g., AGV/AMRs, PLCs, sensors, simulation tools, CAD platforms) is preferred
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, innovation-focused environments

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required—preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related technical field
  • Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are considered a plus
  • Ongoing interest in professional development and technical learning is highly valued
