Key Responsibilities
- Manage all assigned telecom installation and field service projects from initiation through closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
- Ensure projects are started, executed, and completed in a timely, efficient, and satisfactory manner.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
- Estimate project timing, pricing, labor, materials, and resources.
- Manage job costing, billing accuracy, and revenue recognition support.
- Proactively plan and control departmental expenses to achieve best overall cost outcomes.
- Cook up internal and external resources, including field technicians, subcontractors, and third-party suppliers.
- Plan, order, track, and allocate materials from the main warehouse to job sites.
- Oversee preparation of job boxes and ensure materials availability aligns with project schedules.
- Resolve material shortages, logistics issues, and schedule conflicts.
- Manage third-party suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and cost effectiveness.
- Issue stop-work orders to suppliers when project conditions require.
- Ensure all required certificates of insurance, permits, and compliance documentation are obtained and maintained.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers pre-award and post-award.
- Professionally represent Delta and Eltek to customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Communicate project status, risks, changes, and milestones to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage scope changes and customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reporting.
- Track project performance metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Ensure proper project closeout, including documentation, billing, and lessons learned.
Required:
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent project management experience.
- 3–5 years of experience managing or coordinating service, installation, or telecom-related projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience in telecom, power systems, or field service environments (desired).
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost-control skills.
- Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and technical documentation.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management.
Other Job Requirements:
- Ability to work extended periods at a desk using a computer and telephone.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, distinguish colors, stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Pay Range
USD $85,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
