About the role
The Project & Logistics Analyst tracks Government Furnished Material (GFM), manages hardware/software purchasing, and controls parts tracking across field sites. This role manages Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) records.
Responsibilities
- GFM & Purchasing Control: Manage GFM, hardware, and software purchasing under AS9100 engineering release and change control. Coordinate Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) flowdown across procurement pipelines.
- Obsolescence & Logistics Management: Track DMSMS/obsolescence risks and maintain FRACAS logistics status across fielded baselines (CDRL D10). Coordinate field-site maintenance schedules, spare parts pre-staging, and shipment tracking for Field Service Representatives.
- Program Management Reporting: Feed logistics, purchasing, and material utilization metrics into the monthly TDL Status Report (CDRL D5).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 4+ years of DoD material control or logistics experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years in DoD property accountability, supply chain management, or project analysis.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards, FRACAS, DMS management, or DPAS/FAR property control.
- Active Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required).
Skills
- Technical: ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Teamcenter), MS Excel advanced analytics, AS9100 release control, supply chain tracking.
- Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, proactive coordination, clear organization.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel as required.
- Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.
