About the role

The Project Leadership function at Parexel drives success for clients and advances clinical research projects. As part of the Global Project Leadership organization, you will directly impact projects, teams, and clients, delivering solutions tailored to specific client needs across all phases of global clinical trials and a wide array of therapeutic areas.

This Senior Project Leader (SPM) role focuses on candidates with experience leading global studies in various therapeutics, particularly those with a strong background in Real-World Evidence (RWE) programs. You will provide leadership to project teams, manage day-to-day operations, and strive for operational excellence by delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality—exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and manage day-to-day operations of global clinical trials.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of projects within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate team activities, manage resources, and oversee project scheduling.
  • Drive operational excellence and exceed client expectations.
  • Work across all phases of global clinical trials in various therapeutic areas.
  • Support the full clinical development process through regulatory submissions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a clinical or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience leading Global Clinical Trials in Project Management within a CRO (preferred), Biotech, or Pharma company.
  • Experience in project scheduling, managing resources and budgets, and coordinating team activities.
  • Familiarity with the full clinical development process through regulatory submissions.
  • Strong background in Real-World Evidence (RWE) programs.
