What You’ll Do
- Lead internal and external design and engineering resources to support ongoing projects and key pursuits.
- Support the Power Division teams and report to the Vice President of Utility Services.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality of assigned projects.
- Perform and direct internal and external resources in the detailed design of medium to extra high voltage substations and transmission lines including, but not limited to: one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, Station Electrical Assembly Drawings, cable and conduit plan and details, ground grid design and details, foundation plans and details, structural plans and details, control enclosure design and details, lightning protection plans, bills of materials, inter-discipline coordination activities, specify and select substation equipment, contribute to substation equipment specifications, construction support, facility studies, and site visits.
- Cook up and manage relationships with vendors / review and select vendors.
- Coordinate with Vendors / review and select vendors.
- Manage Request for Information (RFI) and information flow for projects.
- Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for deliverables to clients.
- Support Project Managers (PM) with project reporting needs.
- Support proposal development.
- Support the mentorship and training of other team members.
Who You Are
- Understand and adhere to client standards and processes while working individually or within a team to complete complex and technically challenging designs.
- Travel will be required estimated +/- 25%.
What We Offer
- The annual base pay for this role is between $100,000 - $140,000.
- This role may also be eligible for vehicle allowance and bonus.
