Project Landscape Designer

About the role

SLR Consulting (Americas) is seeking a creative, motivated, and team-oriented Landscape Designer/Architect to join their award-winning Landscape Architecture team. The ideal candidate will support senior-level Landscape Architects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, fun, and highly collaborative office environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior-level Landscape Architects in the design process from vision to construction
• Contribute to project teams and produce documents for complex projects
• Work on a variety of projects including urban planning and design, municipal parks, multi-use trails, ecological restoration, active transportation, large-scale residential developments, rooftop and courtyard amenity spaces, and wayfinding and placemaking studies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university in Landscape Architecture
• 3-5 years professional experience in the field of landscape architecture
• Licensure not required but a plus
• Creative problem solving and technical design skills
• Experience contributing to project teams and producing documents for complex projects
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability while working in a collaborative environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion and/or Rhinoceros, and MS Office
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including written work
• Ability to travel as needed for the position
