Project Landscape Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative, motivated and team-oriented Landscape Designer/Architect to join our award winning Landscape Architecture team at SLR Consulting (Americas).

Responsibilities

• Support senior-level Landscape Architects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Work on a variety of projects including urban planning and design, municipal parks, multi-use trails, ecological restoration, active transportation, large-scale residential developments, rooftop and courtyard amenity spaces, and wayfinding and placemaking studies
• Contribute to project teams and produce documents for complex projects
• Show attention to detail and problem-solving ability while working in a collaborative environment
• Show proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion and/or Rhinoceros, and MS Office
• Show excellent communication and presentation skills including written work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university in Landscape Architecture
• 3-5 years professional experience in the field of landscape architecture
• Licensure not required but a plus

• Creative problem solving and technical design skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability while working in a collaborative environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion and/or Rhinoceros, and MS Office
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including written work
