About the role

We're seeking a Project Interior Designer who can transform spaces with thoughtful design and technical expertise. This role requires direct experience in themed entertainment, attraction design, or immersive environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead interior design from concept through construction administration on small to medium-scale projects
  • Develop and present interior design concepts, storytelling narratives, and design presentations
  • Manage the selection and specification of finishes, lighting, and furniture, coordinating with the specifications team
  • Oversee interiors coordination with architecture, engineering consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Motivate and support team members through thoughtful task assignment
  • Identify and communicate project risks to the Project Manager and Project Executive
  • Participate in construction administration processes, on-site observations, and design verifications
  • Contribute to project pursuits, proposals, and client interviews
  • Apply regenerative and sustainable approaches to design

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of professional experience in interior design
  • Direct experience in themed entertainment, attraction design, or immersive environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium-scale project scopes and collaborate on complex, multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong design, technical, and documentation skills with a high standard for quality and completeness
  • Effective communication and client relationship management skills, with the ability to translate ideas into clear, actionable direction
  • Experience leading interior design concept development and presenting to client groups
  • Familiarity with building codes as applied to interior projects and the permitting process

Qualifications

  • Certification/licensure (NCIDQ or equivalent) is preferred but not required

Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM 360, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Awareness and engagement with Rhino, Enscape, and Lumion
