Responsibilities
- Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results.
- Cook up creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project.
- Turn concepts and information into images.
- Handle the process of preparing and completing usable construction document detailing solutions.
- Select materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Manage contract administration responsibilities.
- Aid in creating and managing project schedules.
- Develop & present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders.
- Lead project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and provide mentorship.
- Resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project Manager.
- Seek innovation in design solutions in an ongoing spirit of curiosity and increased project performance.
- Show understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice.
- Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines.
- Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products.
- Attend and conduct presentations.
- Manage client relations.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial design; data centers or workplace experience strongly preferred.
- Show a strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing.
- Be proficient in Revit and have technical excellence.
- Have thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together.
- Show acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget.
- Have a general understanding of building and accessibility codes.
- Show interest in sustainable design.

Pay
This role is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
Schedule
This role is an in-office position.
