Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the daily workflow of the department.
- Carefully review specific department reports to ensure proper and efficient methods are being followed.
- Ensure technicians arrive to job sites on-time and in accordance with their installation assignment.
- Closely monitor technician performance and safety protocols on site.
- Install security systems or appropriate devices, dismantle and/or reconstruct equipment as required by customer or the Company.
- Make connections and required adjustments as directed, test operation of all components of each system.
- Conduct site surveys and customer training.
- Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
- Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management.
- Communicate with customers on job status or completion.
- Craft and submit project status reports.
- Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner. Obtain proper signatures.
- Accurately record travel and service times, timesheets, identify warranties, changes and code issues and provide accurate descriptions.
- Able to work independently on customer sites.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in the security industry preferred
- Some technical school training is a plus
- Foundational understanding of IP networking, camera configurations and power systems (solar/battery)
- Ability to act in a lead capacity
- Exceptional internal/external verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency using project management software
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
Physical Requirements
- May be required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to walk and stand.
- Comfortable reaching, climbing (ladder/stairs) and bending.
- Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Pay Range
$70,000 - $85,000 DOE
