The role
We are entering one of the most exciting chapters in Fixico’s growth through a strategic partnership with Caliber, one of the largest collision repair companies in the United States. To help us successfully launch and build this partnership, we are looking for an Project & Implementation Manager US (Interim) who can step in quickly, bring structure, and drive execution from day one. This is a highly hands-on role.
What you'll do
- Lead the day-to-day project management and implementation of Fixico’s strategic partnership with Caliber.
- Create a clear project structure, roadmap, priorities and implementation plan across all workstreams.
- Cook up cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, Commercial and Customer Success.
- Act as the central point of contact between Fixico and key Caliber stakeholders.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear actions, owners, timelines and deliverables.
- Keep projects on track by actively following up on decisions, dependencies, risks and deadlines.
- Prepare and lead project meetings, steering sessions and stakeholder updates.
- Ensure that all parties have clear visibility on progress, priorities, challenges and next steps.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks and implementation issues early and drive them towards resolution.
- Build the governance, communication rhythms and ways of working needed to run the partnership effectively.
- Support the onboarding and activation of the partnership across teams and markets.
- Travel regularly to the US to work directly with Caliber stakeholders and support implementation on the ground.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, operational teams and technical counterparts.
- Capture lessons, insights and best practices that can be used to create Fixico’s future US partnership playbook.
- Provide input into the longer-term operating model and organisational structure for Fixico’s US business.
What you bring
- A strong consulting or strategy background, with senior experience in complex, high-stakes partnerships or market entry.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, programme management, implementation, consulting or a similar cross-functional role.
- A sharp eye for structure. You know how to create clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Deep familiarity with the American business environment.
- Proven experience leading complex implementations involving multiple teams, senior stakeholders and competing priorities.
- A highly hands-on working style with the ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution.
- Strong project management skills and the discipline to create structure, ownership and momentum.
- Experience managing large enterprise clients, partnerships or strategic customer programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with founders, executives and senior client stakeholders.
- The ability to translate complex technical, operational or commercial topics into clear actions and decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and pragmatic mindset with the ability to solve problems quickly.
- Comfortable working in an environment where processes are still being built and priorities can evolve.
- Experience working in a scale-up, high-growth company or entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience working across countries, cultures and time zones.
- A strong understanding of the American business environment.
- Based in the Netherlands and available to work regularly from Fixico’s Amsterdam headquarters.
- Willing and able to travel frequently to the US, potentially up to 50% of the time.
- Fully fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in automotive, mobility, fleet, insurance or collision repair.
- Experience with SaaS, marketplace or platform-based businesses.
- Experience implementing enterprise technology solutions.
- Experience working with US-based clients or strategic partners.
- A background in consulting, strategy, operations or transformation.
- Experience building new operating models, governance structures or international partnerships from scratch.
- Experience supporting international market launches or business expansion.
