About the role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems in various projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify fire suppression systems, sprinkler systems, and other fire safety equipment.
- Conduct site inspections to assess existing fire protection systems and recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed specifications and drawings for fire protection systems.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of fire protection installations.
- Provide technical support and training to project staff on fire protection systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
