Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Financial & Project Execution Management Support financial execution across a portfolio of projects.
  • Track budget execution, obligations, and expenditures across multiple funding lines.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks impacting project delivery.
  • Align funding with project schedules, milestones, and execution priorities.
  • Maintain financial and execution trackers.
  • Champion the needs of the warfighter throughout the program lifecycle, from concept to operational testing.
  • Budget Planning & PPBE Support PPBE-informed planning, funding strategies, and portfolio trade-off analysis.
  • Aid in budget build activities, spend plans, and funds phasing.
  • Ensure funding profiles align with project schedules and execution plans.
  • Provide appropriations-aware guidance for compliant funds execution.
  • Financial Analysis & Decision Support Develop executive briefings and financial decision-support materials.
  • Analyze burn rates, execution trends, and portfolio performance.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize funding allocation and improve execution.
  • Support financial inputs for project reviews and leadership engagements.
  • Project Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with project teams, contracting, and financial stakeholders on funding actions.
  • Track alignment between project execution and available resources.
  • Support milestone tracking and identify funding-related risks.
  • Prepare recurring financial and execution status updates.

    Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5+ years supporting DoW financial management, budgeting, or program portfolio execution.
    • Familiarity with PPBE process and DoW appropriations (RDT&E, O&M, Procurement, etc.).
    • Strong analytical and communication skills, including executive briefing development.
    • Able to support routine local travel, occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel.
    • Ability to work full-time in a Chantilly, VA office within SCIF/SAPF spaces.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience supporting DoW R&D or rapid prototyping programs.
    • Experience supporting portfolio-level financial planning and trade-off analysis.
    • DAWIA/Back-to-Basics certification in Program Management or Business/Financial Management.
    • Experience integrating financial planning with program schedules and execution tracking.
    • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

      Pay

      Virginia, Pay Transparency
      Salary range: USD $160,000.00/Yr. - USD $185,000.00/Yr.
