About the role

The F-35 Development Finance Organization is seeking a Program Control Manager II to serve as the finance lead and manage a team of program finance professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Financial management and analysis of multiple programs within the portfolio
  • Supporting strategy, proposals, planning and baseline integrity
  • Internal reporting, Earned Value Management System and Life Cycle Management compliance
  • Financial salient forecasting and analysis
  • Leading and motivating a team of Finance professionals
  • Supporting Product Line financial commitments and requirements, goal setting/management, resource planning
  • Reviewing and influencing program baselines through earned value management
  • Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Interface with customers and serving as a consultant for external communications
  • Communicate and present financial data to other functions and leadership in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
  • Seek out projects to continually improve processes
  • Propose support through participating in strategy discussion, kick-off preparation, proposal preparation/review, fact-finding, statements of position, and negotiations
  • Develop creative solutions to problems, driving change and promoting Business Acumen across the program team

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline plus 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong Earned Value Management experience including IMPR and IMPDAR
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions to complex problems while complying with policies and procedures
  • Mentoring skills and ability to promote the professional development of Financial Analysts and foster a collaborative culture that promotes employee engagement, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Prior Program Controls experience working with various contract types
  • Capable of efficient and relevant decision-making
  • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and lead cross-functional work teams
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Communicate and present financial data to various functions and varying levels of Management

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, in particular, Excel and Power Point

Benefits

This role will be conducted in a hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between our offices in Manchester, NH, and remotely from an alternate work location of their choosing. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must either currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Manchester, or be willing to relocate to the area.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $134640 - $228888

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
