Project Finance Manager
About The Job
Aula Energy is building a portfolio of solar, wind and battery assets that will power the clean energy future. We are looking for a Project Finance Manager to support Aula Energy’s growth by delivering on financing activities, managing debt facilities, and contributing to capital strategy execution. The role is hands-on and delivery focused, with defined ownership of key workstreams while supporting broader strategic initiatives led by the GM.
Capital Strategy Support
- Contribute to the development and execution of capital strategy by providing analysis and evaluating financing structures and future funding requirements
- Prepare analysis and materials to support Board and investment decisions
- Provide informed recommendations based on financial and market insights
Transaction Execution
- Support execution of project finance transactions including modelling, due diligence and coordination
- Lead defined workstreams within transactions, including managing advisors and coordinating inputs
- Maintain financial models to support transaction decisions and lender discussions
Debt Facility Management
- Take ownership of ongoing management of debt facilities including reporting, compliance and covenant monitoring
- Manage lender communications for operational matters
- Maintain debt registers and support refinancing planning
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, advisors and internal stakeholders
- Act as a day-to-day contact for selected external stakeholders
- Collaborate across development, finance and commercial teams
Qualifications
Essential:
- Minimum 5-7 years of project finance expertise
- Experience gained within a leading commercial bank, investment bank, infrastructure fund, renewable energy developer, energy company, or financial advisory firm
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian energy market
- Successful track record of technical skills in running an end-to-end deal process
Desirable
- Experience in the renewable energy market
Behaviors
