Project Finance Controller

Responsibilities

• Project setup
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Revenue recognition
• Variance analysis
• Reporting
• Interacting with Program Managers
• Serving as the Finance Representative on project teams
• Communicating with management regarding financial results
• Identifying risks and opportunities during project financial reviews
• Completing timely and accurate project monthly revenue recognition procedures
• Maintaining ERP project information
• Ensuring data quality for ERP project information
• Timely invoice processing
• Reviewing and approving invoices
• Following up on collections
• Analyzing and understanding unbilled work in progress (WIP)
• Managing project subcontractor invoices
• Writing-ups for submission to Accounts Payable (AP)
• Maintaining financial data for semi-annual subcontractor reporting (SF 294)
• Preparing and submitting project monthly progress reports
• Financial dashboards
• Other reports as required
• Reviewing and monitoring project funding and expenditures
• Preparation and provision of necessary financial information
• Final invoice review

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Project Finance or related role
• Experience in a government and/or commercial contracting environment, including service type T&M and/or fixed priced contracts
• Experience with ERP, Financial and Accounting systems, preferably Deltek Costpoint
• Willingness to work Pacific Standard Time Hours
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, or related discipline

Pay Range

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $67,355.00 - $114,503.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
