Project Executive - Data Center Construction

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Executive to help lead Data Center Projects in Council Hill, OK! The Project Executive is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects by overseeing the construction operations while providing leadership and management direction. This role develops project team members, identifies continuous improvement opportunities and assists with the creation of a business unit strategic growth plan and budget. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for large-scale construction projects.
- Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site field management staff to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Manage and support proposal creation and the development of client presentations.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interests and maintain a good relationship with the client.
- Provide leadership and direction to preconstruction teams in analyzing value to the customer, opportunities, and risk.
- Coordinate project commissioning and handover activities.
- Manage project closeout activities.
- Maintain a strong network of industry-related contacts
