Project Executive

Responsibilities

• Pursue opportunities, manage pre-construction activities, negotiate contracts, and oversee the execution, controls, cost, risk, and business management of projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and generate new business.
• Guide multiple jobs and teams through operational phases including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.
• Formulate and develop contract terms with clients and communicate these terms to the project team.
• Ensure clear definition and implementation of project strategies and drive these strategies throughout the job setup.
• Collaborate with estimating and purchasing to establish profitability, client satisfaction, and the best subcontractors for the job.
• Promote positive subcontractor relations by maintaining professional and fair dealings with all subcontractors and vendors, and fostering this attitude among the project team.
• Communicate effectively with the field team and involve them in decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of construction management experience.
• A proven track record of successfully completed projects.
• The ability to achieve and maintain financial control and profit goals for projects.
• Experience in business development and heavy client interaction is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.

Additional Role Specific Skills

• Vast knowledge of all trades and phases of the entire construction process, including scope, cost, time frames, field execution, typical risks, and exposure.
• Extensive people management experience.

Salary Range

NYC Base Salary Range: $200,000 – $300,000. The range stated is specific to New York City. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles), and internal company equity.
