Project Estimator/Detailer - ASWP
About the role
Play a key role in supporting high-value projects across American SpiralWeld Pipe (ASWP). Create precise drawings, layouts, and material estimates using CAD and project estimating skills.
Responsibilities
- Leverage CAD software to interpret engineering drawings and translate specs into detailed layouts and material lists.
- Work closely with internal teams, engineers, and external vendors to ensure projects are accurately planned, materials are properly quantified, and production proceeds efficiently.
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time and meet high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Substantial prior work experience in drafting or an Associate Degree in drafting from an accredited school.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, interpreting engineering drawings, and translating specs into detailed layouts and material lists.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Works well with internal teams, engineers, and external vendors to keep projects on track.
- Willingness to work extra hours or travel occasionally to support project needs.
