Project Engineering Manager - Water/Wastewater

About the role

The Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater will lead the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon neutral solutions. They will supervise and mentor engineering staff, identify developmental growth opportunities, manage budgets, schedules, and correspondence with clients and project management in support of a project.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on high profile municipal projects.
• Serve as the responsible charge for a project.
• Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects.
• Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions.
• Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.
• Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Lead production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• PE license.
• Previous engineering consulting experience.
• Experience executing multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects.

Salary Plan ENG: Engineering Job Grade 016.
