About the Role
The Project Engineering Manager oversees moderate to complex projects across multiple facilities, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning, execution, and resource allocation for initiatives such as line upgrades, process improvements, and building extensions.
- Develop budgets, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure adherence to safety and food safety standards (e.g., SQF).
- Provide technical support, analyze production data, and drive equipment and line performance optimization.
- Lead root cause analysis, standardize operating conditions, and improve maintenance strategies for reliability and efficiency.
- Oversee procurement, manage contractors, and facilitate cross-departmental communication for seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years in project management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments; knowledge of beverage manufacturing a plus.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
Skills
- Strong leadership, data analysis, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Ability to handle mechanical and electrical issues hands-on and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
