Project Engineering Manager

About the Role

The Project Engineering Manager oversees moderate to complex projects across multiple facilities, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, execution, and resource allocation for initiatives such as line upgrades, process improvements, and building extensions.
• Develop budgets, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure adherence to safety and food safety standards (e.g., SQF).
• Provide technical support, analyze production data, and drive equipment and line performance optimization.
• Lead root cause analysis, standardize operating conditions, and improve maintenance strategies for reliability and efficiency.
• Oversee procurement, manage contractors, and facilitate cross-departmental communication for seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in project management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments; knowledge of beverage manufacturing a plus.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Skills

• Strong leadership, data analysis, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ability to handle mechanical and electrical issues hands-on and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
