About the role
The Project Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing projects across Refresco facilities within the assigned region. This position ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while managing resources, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs, and wear required PPE.
- Ensure adherence to food quality and safety standards.
- Execute medium to large scale projects including line upgrades, process upgrades, new marketing initiatives, and building extensions.
- Develop and manage regional budgets, write projects, and manage suppliers.
- Communicate with all departments to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide technical support and drive equipment and line performance optimization.
- Lead root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure new equipment and capital projects meet long-term reliability, maintainability, and operational stability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and third-party resources involved in projects.
- Facilitate procurement of materials and equipment required for projects.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- PMP certification preferred; Lean or Six Sigma certifications a plus.
