Project Engineering Manager

About the role

The Project Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing projects across Refresco facilities within the assigned region. This position ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while managing resources, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs, and wear required PPE.
  • Ensure adherence to food quality and safety standards.
  • Execute medium to large scale projects including line upgrades, process upgrades, new marketing initiatives, and building extensions.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets, write projects, and manage suppliers.
  • Communicate with all departments to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Provide technical support and drive equipment and line performance optimization.
  • Lead root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure new equipment and capital projects meet long-term reliability, maintainability, and operational stability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and third-party resources involved in projects.
  • Facilitate procurement of materials and equipment required for projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • PMP certification preferred; Lean or Six Sigma certifications a plus.
