Project Engineering Manager

About the role

The Project Engineering Manager leads the engineering department or group at a site, setting and directing goals, budgets, and objectives. They ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and drive high performance through strategic planning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls department and financial goals, budgets, and objectives.
• Drives engineering department to meet site/engineering business strategies.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manages and plans engineering resources for project goals.
• Analyzes business forces and identifies trends to recommend responses.
• Develops and manages staff through hiring, performance management, and talent development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years of experience, including work as an individual contributor and supervisory experience.
• Advanced degree in a technical field may contribute towards the desired years of experience.
• Business acumen and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Proven project management skills.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and specifications.
• Experience with EHS, quality, and GMP manufacturing.

• Ability to interpret site directives and apply advanced scientific and engineering knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

$124,500 - $236,500 USD

Schedule

Full-time, on-site presence required.
