About the role
The Project Engineering Manager leads the engineering department or group at a site, setting and directing goals, budgets, and objectives. They ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and drive high performance through strategic planning and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Directs and controls department and financial goals, budgets, and objectives.
- Drives engineering department to meet site/engineering business strategies.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manages and plans engineering resources for project goals.
- Analyzes business forces and identifies trends to recommend responses.
- Develops and manages staff through hiring, performance management, and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
- 8+ years of experience, including work as an individual contributor and supervisory experience.
- Advanced degree in a technical field may contribute towards the desired years of experience.
- Business acumen and leadership experience.
Qualifications
- Proven project management skills.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and specifications.
- Experience with EHS, quality, and GMP manufacturing.
Skills
- Ability to interpret site directives and apply advanced scientific and engineering knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Pay
$124,500 - $236,500 USD
Schedule
Full-time, on-site presence required.
