About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services
  • Pursue new and further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value-added services to clients
  • Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices into your clients' projects
  • Design traffic projects and traffic elements of larger projects while ensuring quality and adherence to budget
  • Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
  • Review work for accuracy and coordinate with other functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with transportation engineering and related design packages
  • 2+ years of project experience working on Florida projects
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 2 years
  • Preferred: PTOE certification

Qualifications

  • Reside and perform work in the state of Florida
  • Primarily work in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required

Skills

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with transportation engineering software
  • Knowledge of sustainable practices and their implementation
