Project Engineer, Traffic
About the role
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services
- Pursue new and further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
- Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value-added services to clients
- Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices into your clients' projects
- Design traffic projects and traffic elements of larger projects while ensuring quality and adherence to budget
- Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
- Review work for accuracy and coordinate with other functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with transportation engineering and related design packages
- 2+ years of project experience working on Florida projects
- Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 2 years
- Preferred: PTOE certification
Qualifications
- Reside and perform work in the state of Florida
- Primarily work in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required
Skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with transportation engineering software
- Knowledge of sustainable practices and their implementation
