Project Engineer, Traffic
What You Will Do
- Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services
- Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
- Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients
- Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices to your clients
- Design traffic projects and traffic elements of larger projects and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
- Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
- Review work for accuracy and coordinate with other functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages
- Active PE license is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment
- PTOE certification (preferred)

Requirements
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages. An active Professional Engineer (PE) license is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment. PTOE certification is preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a passion for innovation and a commitment to sustainability. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Skills
Strong knowledge of traffic engineering software and tools is essential. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is also critical. Proficiency in project management methodologies and experience with sustainable design principles are highly valued.
