Project Engineer-TINKER AFB

Responsibilities
- Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
- Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
- Provide support in construction planning, quality control, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completion.
- Represent company during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Manage and coordinate schedules for all subcontractors and ensure they submit all required documents in a timely manner.
- Aid in the preparation of submittals and RFI's as needed.
- Track production quantities for SWCP and subcontractors.
- Act as the onsite point person for SWCP personnel and all subcontractors.
- Work closely with Project Manager and other Department Managers to ensure successful completion of the project.
Requirements
- Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control schedules and safety required.
- Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Experience
- 3+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications.
- Working knowledge of Blue Beam and OST preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Heavy Job and HCSS preferred but not required.
- Must have valid driver's license and REAL ID.
