Project Engineer - Sharonville, OH

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. DuBois Chemicals is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support the Equipment & Engineering Team.

Responsibilities

• Support pilot projects, testing, and validation of new equipment designs
• Support development and standardization of equipment system designs across key markets and applications
• Create, review, and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Create and maintain equipment documentation packages, including manuals, specifications, and SOP
• Aid in design and layout of mechanical systems
• Support system integration efforts, including controls and automation interfaces
• Collaborate with senior engineers to refine and improve existing equipment designs
• Ensure documentation accuracy, version control, and accessibility across the Equipment Team
• Participate in internal design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Absorb and analyze root cause analysis and design improvements based on field performance and feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering, internship, or co-op experience
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High achievement orientation and willingness to learn
• Up to 10-20% travel required

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (2D or 3D, such as Inventor or SolidWorks)
• Exposure to industrial equipment, controls, or process systems
• Basic understanding of PLCs, controls, or system integration concepts
