Project Engineer - Retrofit

Control Air Enterprises, an employee-owned company (ESOP), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Engineer for our Retrofit & Energy Group. This team specializes in design-build, turnkey mechanical projects for commercial markets and ESCO’s (energy services contracts), focusing on energy, water, and natural resource savings. The role involves developing conceptual projects, collaborating with in-house engineering for equipment selection and design, and executing projects with unique challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal documents for project setup.
• Handle subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, logs, change orders, and other project execution documents.
• Coordinate and prepare project billings with the accounting team.
• Conduct site visits to assess scope, evaluate progress, and gain firsthand experience.
• Work with operations to coordinate equipment, manpower, and subcontractors per project schedule.
• Maintain and develop project control procedures.
• Interface with clients remotely and in-person to meet project objectives and exceed satisfaction.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Pay

$35–$45 hourly.
