Project Engineer / Project Manager - Civil Site Development

About the role

Senior Civil Engineer leading site development projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple civil site development projects for public and private clients.
• Prepare and oversee construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead proposal preparation, fee development, and support business growth.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Visit project sites and client offices to support execution and business development.
• Oversee engineering work, monitor project performance, and ensure standards compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop engineers and technicians.
• Communicate project status, risks, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and PE license required.
• 15+ years of civil engineering design and project management experience.
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial site development.
• Strong understanding of civil site design, water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
• Experience in business development and managing multiple complex projects.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
