Project Engineer Lead

The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of a project, from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage the technical tasks to ensure quality, accuracy, and the proper resources.
• Establish project criteria, coordinate review, and ensure the project elements are implemented correctly.
• Communicate with TPi customers and project managers with technical expertise regarding our products.
• Perform other related responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager.
• Conduct occasional travel and technical presentations.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
• 3–5 years of experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with others.
• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated by success.
• Familiar with ISO 9000 or AS9100.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GDT) and SolidWorks/Inventor.
• Ability to break projects down into smaller tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
• Familiarity with aluminum castings concepts, practices, and procedures.
