Project Engineer (JIRA)

About the role

This 12‑month contract‑to‑hire position requires US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the end‑to‑end planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of diverse projects within an assigned area of responsibility.
• Partners with end users to identify pain points, document requirements, and design, develop, and implement solutions and process improvements in alignment with company standards.
• Ensures technical developments are properly scheduled, and design/test problems are resolved efficiently.
• Translates business goals into measurable KPIs and leverages user feedback to drive continuous improvement and higher adoption of implemented solutions.
• Position may require some business travel.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading events and project meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• At least 5‑7 years of experience with basic coding knowledge for quick prototyping and automation of routine tasks.
• At least 5‑7 years of experience with JIRA project management and change management, including development of training materials.
• At least 5‑7 years of demonstrated experience in cost avoidance & savings calculation, benefit realization, ROI analysis, and quantifying cost avoidance opportunities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Pay

$68.50 per hour (W2)
