Our Full Circuit Project Engineering Internship Program is designed for students ready to move beyond traditional job shadowing. During this immersive, ten-week program, you’ll contribute to active projects, learn from experienced construction professionals and see how an electrical construction project moves from initial bid through final closeout. Experience The Full Circuit As a Project Engineering Intern, you’ll be embedded with a local Construction team and paired with a dedicated mentor. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real projects while collaborating with Project Managers, Project Engineers, field leaders and the teams responsible for successful project execution. You’ll also work with interns across the country to complete Project Current, a full-lifecycle project simulation featuring realistic construction challenges such as material delays, manpower constraints, schedule changes and change orders. What You’ll Experience Support an active electrical construction project alongside Project Managers, Project Engineers and field leadersHelp maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, drawings, meeting notes and material-tracking logsAssist with project scheduling, procurement, change-order documentation and closeout activitiesParticipate in project meetings and jobsite visitsLearn how project teams monitor labor, cost, schedule, safety and qualityGain exposure to Preconstruction, Safety, Finance, HR and other teams involved in project deliveryUse industry technology and construction-management softwareComplete weekly deliverables as part of a collaborative, full-lifecycle project simulationPresent project work and recommendations to Rogers leadersReceive ongoing mentorship, feedback and professional development throughout the program Who We’re Looking For This program is specifically designed for students who meet the following requirements: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or universityEntering the internship as a rising senior or graduating seniorPursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Construction or another directly related construction or engineering disciplineInterested in pursuing a career in Project Engineering, Project Management or electrical constructionAble to participate in the full ten-week internship programProficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and able to manage multiple assignments and deadlinesDetail-oriented, dependable and willing to ask questionsComfortable working in both office and active jobsite environmentsAdaptable, collaborative and receptive to feedbackPrevious construction experience is helpful but not requiredBilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus What You’ll Gain Meaningful responsibility on an active construction projectOne-on-one mentorship from an experienced Rogers professionalExposure to the complete electrical construction project lifecycleExperience with construction technology, documentation and project controlsOpportunities to connect with leaders across RogersProfessional feedback and career-development supportConsideration for future internships or full-time Project Engineer opportunities based on performance and business needsA nationwide cohort experience with other Full Circuit interns Start Building Your Career At Rogers Electric, interns do more than observe—they contribute, solve problems and learn how successful projects are led.
