About the role
The Asset Management Leadership Development Program (AMLDP) is a custom rotational program designed to develop its members into competent, confident, asset managers for The Cianbro Companies. AMLDP members have the unique opportunity to accelerate their learning and development by taking on a variety of challenging assignments across the company, with the opportunity to travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in many different disciplines of Asset Management: Finance Competencies, Rental Management, Maintenance Management, Procurement Management, Properties Management.
- Learn basic leadership and management skills.
- Learn concepts surrounding supply chain management.
- Learn concepts surrounding continuous improvement and process controls.
- Learn concepts regarding negotiation, competitive bidding, and procurement.
- Learn enterprise resource planning structure and execution.
- Learn concepts surrounding Voice of the Customer.
- Learn how to partner with operational team members and add value to the company.
- Learn how Asset Management, Properties Management, and other construction-support entities strengthen The Cianbro Companies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take the initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Can-do attitude with the ability to work intensively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills.

Job Responsibilities - Bilingual Operational Human Resources Manager - Infrastructure
- Retain, develop, and attract top talent to the organization.
- Overall management of HR activities for the Infrastructure Market of Cianbro including daily interaction with Market Executives and Project Managers to manage staffing strategies.
- Manages the Infrastructure Market staffing and recruiting team.
- Responsible for the direct hiring, staffing, and retention of team members either through direct effort, partnering with operational management and/or working with our Talent & Diversity Manager and Recruitment team.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment law, administer benefit, compensation, wellness, and safety programs.
- Provide ongoing support to field operations consulting in the areas of team member relations, performance evaluations, education and development, succession planning, and communication strategies.
- Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization on strategy and execution, ensuring commitment to current policies, procedures, and our merit shop philosophy.
- Conducts thorough and timely investigations of complaints, log investigative reports and work with management team on resolution to ensure compliance with Cianbro’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Harassment policies.
- Coach and support frontline leadership and market managers on a variety of human resource topics.
Qualifications/Requirements - Bilingual Operational Human Resources Manager - Infrastructure
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience with 5+ years in a management role, preferable in the construction industry. SPHR Certification Preferred.
- Written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Success in change management efforts within complex and challenging environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to successfully work with all levels of the company providing honest, effective, and direct feedback.
- Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, HR Systems, etc.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a track record for accepting responsibility and having sound judgment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment, remaining flexible, supportive, and adaptive to changes in direction, priorities, and job duties.
Job Responsibilities - Carpenter - Industrial
- Constructs or assembles concrete forming systems, according to blueprints and specifications, for forming concrete structures.
- Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools while conforming to local building codes.
- Interprets blueprints, sketches, or building plans in preparation of layout to determine dimensions and type of material required.
Qualifications/Requirements - Carpenter - Industrial
- The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in industrial, commercial and bridgework.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- A minimum of 3 years of assembly/disassembly of heavy form systems.
- Knowledge in the use of concrete pumps, placement, and finishing of concrete and installation of rebar is a plus.
- Prior Rigging knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with leveling tools such as laser levels and transits.
- Must have the appropriate tools of the trade.
Job Responsibilities - Carpenter Pre-Apprentice
- Learn about carpenter formwork, scaffolding, finishing concrete, tying rebar, metal and wood stud wall framing and building stair stringers, among other general carpentry skills.
- Learn how to take basic measurements, the proper use of hand and power tools, and equipment operation (aerial, scissor, and forklift).
Qualifications/Requirements - Carpenter Pre-Apprentice
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
