About the role

This is a 100% project site-based role in Indiana. You will work closely with the Construction Manager, Superintendents, Owners, Estimators, Pre-Construction team, Engineers, and Sub-Contractors on solar energy projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager from initial notice to proceed through final acceptance by the client.
  • Collaborate with the Estimating department during the pre-bid and buyout stage to address field staff needs.
  • Solve problems and resolve issues through face-to-face and personal communication.
  • Plan, lead, and coordinate all project execution activities as if managing a personal business.
  • Participate in the conceptual development, estimating, organization, scheduling, and implementation of projects.
  • Support project administration to ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Perform contract administration, schedule management, preparation of spreadsheets and reports, and maintain budget and cost reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis, investigate non-conformance issues, implement corrective measures, and manage risk, safety, and quality control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Minimum certification.
  • SWPPP Training.
  • Basic knowledge of technical, administrative, and management aspects of project management.
  • Basic knowledge of public and construction safety, security issues, and regulations.
  • Excellent mathematical skills for problem-solving.
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply IFC drawings and job specifications for civil and electrical work.
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint, MS Project, and MS Office.
