Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical aspects of land development projects from planning through construction.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering project activities.
- Review project plans and proposals, recommending modifications and improvements as needed.
- Perform complex engineering assignments, including construction layout, engineering calculations, field inspections, and testing.
- Develop plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and other engineering documentation.
- Prepare and distribute project specifications and schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee the work of consultants, contractors, and project team members.
- Perform quality control reviews and provide regular project status updates.
- Communicate with clients regarding project progress, technical issues, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure within the first year of employment.
- Seven or more years of professional experience managing land development projects through all phases.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation design software.
