Main Functions
- Perform engineering design evaluations and project support activities within budget and schedule constraints.
- Review industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Review production, maintenance, and malfunction reports to identify and address issues.
- Provide technical support throughout the engineering and project execution process.
- Support Project Manager responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluations, and contractor selection.
- Support identification and sourcing of long-lead equipment.
- Cook up development of EMCAPS (ExxonMobil Capital Project Management System) Gate 3 deliverables.
- Cook up development of Functional Interaction Plans.
- Cook up project issue resolution processes.
- Cook up change requests and endorse change authorizations.
- Ensure assigned work scope is completed in alignment with project objectives.
- Verify design and construction activities comply with project specifications and standards.
- Serve as the interface between the Project Team and contractors.
- Ensure smooth transitions between project phases and stage gates.
- Support and lead Project Management Team (PMT) application of project management systems.
Qualifications
- BS degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience in engineering, construction, project management, and project controls assignments.
- Broad knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, and work processes.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and interface management skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities, tight deadlines, and heavy workloads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
