Project Engineer II

Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid in coordinating engineering deliverables and schedules across multiple disciplines
• Prepare, review, and revise project documents, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare material requisitions and perform vendor technical reviews
• Participate in design review meetings and assist in resolving technical issues
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and startup
• Support senior project engineers and project managers in monitoring the project schedule and budget
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline
• 4–6 years of engineering experience, preferably in the oil & gas midstream sector (internship or co-op experience acceptable)
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, API, DOT/PHMSA)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic project scheduling tools
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools
• EIT certification preferred with progress towards acquiring P.E.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasional lifting of office supplies or equipment up to 20 pounds
• Ability to move around the office for daily tasks and meetings, and job site visits (when required)
