About the role

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role oversees all production aspects of projects following handoff from Project Management. Key responsibilities include coordinating with Engineering, Purchasing, Install, and the production team to manage schedules, fabrication activities, quality control, and project budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Drives successful completion of various custom initiatives by overseeing small to large-scale production projects concurrently.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between Production and Project Management, maintaining project schedules, manufacturing budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborates with Engineering and Project Management to ensure projects are fabricated within budget while maintaining design intent and client expectations.
  • Covers with Purchasing and external vendors/subcontractors to support project requirements and successful delivery to the client.
  • Reviews and submits weekly rework reports to the Production Manager and actively works to identify opportunities to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
  • Pairs with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Install, and Production, to ensure project success.
  • Maintains accurate and timely project documentation within Wrike, including status updates, notes, schedules, and drawing revisions.
  • Communicates project status, priorities, and risks effectively across departments and with all levels of the organization.
  • Escalates project concerns, resource constraints, or departmental issues to the appropriate manager when necessary.
  • Coordinates production-related client requests, schedule changes, and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and alignment with internal teams.
  • Adheres to established company processes while identifying and advocating for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates leadership through accountability, collaboration, and mentorship while continually developing professional and leadership skills.
  • Identifies potential project risks early and works with internal stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience within production, manufacturing, construction, or custom fabrication environment.
  • Associate's degree or trade school certification preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Pay

This is an hourly (non-exempt) position. Salary range is $20 - $25 per hour.

Schedule

The work schedule is flexible and may require occasional overtime and weekend work.
