Project Engineer I

Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Support coordination between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Track deliverables and maintain project documentation.
• Perform basic technical reviews and calculations under supervision.
• Assist with procurement tasks such as preparing requisitions and reviewing vendor data.
• Participate in site visits and provide basic field engineering support when needed.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience, preferably in the oil & gas midstream sector (internship or co-op experience acceptable).
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, API, DOT/PHMSA) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with AutoCAD or similar tools preferred.
• EIT certification preferred with progress towards acquiring P.E.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Occasional lifting of office supplies or equipment up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to move around the office for daily tasks and meetings, and job site visits (when required).
