Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation, preparation, and finalization of the project schedule.
- Acquire and submit all project submittal information and oversee the approval process.
- Support the management of subcontract requirements, contract documents, and change orders.
- Coordinate communications and correspondences with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures during the construction process, in line with contract documents and ISEC policies and procedures.
- Assist in the completion of job closeouts in an efficient manner, keeping the Project Manager updated.
- Resolve conflicts with clients and customers.
- Record all relevant information in the Project Control/Document Control System with deadlines for tasks.
- Review job costs with the Project Manager.
- Manage shop drawings throughout the project, including general contractor reviews and final installations to the field.
- Follow up with internal and external customers regarding shop drawing changes and schedule adjustments or delays.
- Release materials in a timely manner and coordinate deliveries.
- Visit job sites as needed; understand the site environment and monitor job site progress.
- Keep a shortage and breakage log and reorder materials as necessary.
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals, guarantees, and submit them according to specification requirements on each project.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly billings, cost projections, and weekly logs.
Education/Experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 0-3 years of experience.
- Minimum Qualifications: Basic knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes, and projects; understanding of project plans and specifications; ability to work independently at times; proficiency in MS Office Suite; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent prioritization and organizational skills; strong sense of accountability; positive attitude.
Safety Responsibilities
- Implement and promote ISEC Safety requirements: foster a culture of safety excellence and adhere to the Safety Promise.
- Coach employees needing improvement and assign tasks to qualified personnel.
- Promptly correct recognized safety deficiencies.
- Report all injuries and incidents to managers and the Safety Department.
- Plan and execute deliveries to the job site safely and efficiently.
