Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective execution.
- Support site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Absorb and review project proposals, contracts, and change orders.
- Cook up and procure materials and equipment needed for project completion.
- Maintain communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
- Absorb and resolve project-related issues and conflicts in the field.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and confirm adherence to design requirements.
- Cook up and support subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, quality work.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote and support adherence to all safety protocols on the job site.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on progress and challenges.
- Absorb and assist with project closeout and evaluation to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in construction project management or related role
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Procore
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in construction
