Project Engineer (Heavy Civil/Highway Construction)

About the role

Join Trumbull Corporation, a recognized leader in heavy civil and highway construction, and help shape the infrastructure that moves our region forward. We're seeking talented Project Engineers to support major construction projects across Western Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting design plans and specifications for construction teams.
• Identifying and resolving design discrepancies, interferences, or field challenges.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation-status reports, submittals, sketches, punch lists, and more.
• Monitoring budgets, costs, and schedules to support project profitability.
• Assisting in the preparation of field design changes and "as-built" drawings.
• Supporting project safety programs and ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Providing mentorship or training to junior team members.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of previous construction, design, or project management experience in heavy civil or highway work preferred.
