About the role
Skanska is searching for a dynamic Project Engineer to work within the Project Management Team, which is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling. The Project Engineer ensures projects are constructed safely, ethically, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The scope of responsibilities may vary depending on the size and complexity of the projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee project execution to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Assist with budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of projects.
- Ensure projects are constructed in a safe, ethical manner and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of prior relevant experience in bridges, structures, utilities, and/or civil projects.
- Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.
- Broad job knowledge of technical or operational practices within the assigned discipline.

Pay
Salary range: USD $100,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year.
